Grace Tan Associate New York
Experience
Since Grace started at CAP in 2022 as an intern, she has advised public and private companies on executive and director compensation matters across a range of industries, including industrials, financial services, food manufacturing, private equity portfolio companies, and family-owned businesses. Her experience includes evaluating target and realizable pay levels, board compensation programs, proxy disclosure and design, severance and change-in-control arrangements, and annual and long-term incentive plans. Grace has developed particular experience supporting industrials and small-cap companies, including private companies and family-owned businesses.
Publications and Speeches
Grace has co-authored and contributed research to CAP publications on executive compensation topics, such as proxy advisor voting updates, annual incentive and long-term incentive payouts, mega-grant awards, and executive security perquisites. Her research has been featured by the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and Agenda. Grace also serves as the assistant editor of the third edition of A Practical Guide to Compensation Committee Service: Lessons From the Field.
Education
Grace received a B.A. in English from Princeton University.
