Whitney Cook is an Associate at Compensation Advisory Partners in New York. Since joining CAP in 2018, she has worked with clients across a broad spectrum of industries and ownership structures on executive and board of director compensation issues. Whitney’s work includes developing competitive compensation levels for senior executives, annual and long-term incentive plan design, board of director compensation, pay-for-performance analyses, and peer group design. She works with clients in various industries, including pharmaceuticals, financial services, materials, and consumer products.
Whitney writes frequently on executive compensation issues. She has co-authored CAP client alerts covering executive compensation trends in the financial services industry and among companies undergoing special situations, including bankruptcy, as well as board of director compensation trends among Fortune 100 companies. Whitney takes a lead role in CAP’s research and thought leadership on the COVID-19 pandemic. Her research has been cited by The Wall Street Journal, among other media outlets, and has been featured by the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance.
Whitney holds a Bachelor of Science in Labor Economics with a Minor in Business Administration from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
